Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira has written a farewell to supporters.
The Uruguayan never settled in England and eventually got his wish of a move away, albeit a temporary one.
Torreira has signed for Atletico Madrid on a one year loan, which could turn into a permanent move if he does well.
The all action midfielder signed for Diego Simeone's team on deadline day.
The blow of losing Torreira was overshadowed by the big money arrival of Atleti's Thomas Partey.
Arsenal paid the midfielder's release clause, while Torreira went in the opposite direction on loan.
"It was an absolute privilege playing for Arsenal these last two seasons! Thanks a lot! We catch up soon!" Torreira wrote on Twitter.
