Forgotten Swiss attacker Shani Tarashaj is returning to Everton.
The Liverpool Echo says FC Emmen have announced that Shani Tarashaj's loan from Everton has been cancelled.
The Swiss international joined the Dutch side last summer on a two-year deal but they have today confirmed it has been brought to a premature end.
Everton helped make the move possible by extending Tarashaj's contract at Goodison by an extra year which helped Emmen afford the player's remaining wages over a two-year period.
The Blues signed Tarashaj in January 2016 in a deal worth around £3m but he failed to make an impression with the first-team and has not played for the club at a senior level.
