Register name before buying food, drinks

TAWAU: Chairman of Tawau Food Operators Association Chau Oi Keong (pic) said anyone who purchase food and drinks from eateries must register their name or scan/check-in the MySejahtera QR code when they enter the premise or risk being be fined RM1,000.

He said this following a recent case where a woman was fined RM1,000 for failing to register using MySejahtera app at a food premise in Malacca.

Earlier, he suggested that road users when pass through roadblocks should have their temperature checked and that those with fever or temperature above 37.5 degrees Celsius to be immediately sent for Covid-19 swab at the hospital or Tawau health clinic (Kabota) here.
