Burnley manager Sean Dyche admits he is not sure when the takeover of the club will be complete.
The boss knows there are talks taking place with Egyptian businessman Mohamed El Kashashy and lawyer Chris Farnell, along with the Burnley hierarchy.
An American group, ALK Capital, were also linked with buying the club.
It is unclear if the takeover would have much impact on Dyche's future, but an injection of transfer funds may make him more likely to commit to the club for the long term.
"I know what you know," Dyche told reporters about the possible takeover.
"I've been reading different stories. It's not really my domain, I focus on the team.
"The chairman and the board will make the big decisions at the club. I have no power over that side of things."
