Manchester United hero Patrice Evra has declared Donny van de Beek an "unnecessary" signing.
Van de Beek was left on the bench for yesterday's 0-0 draw with Chelsea.
"Why have we bought Van de Beek?" Evra demanded to know on Sky Sports.
"He's just watching from the stands. We didn't need him and that's the truth."
Solskjaer was also asked what Van de Beek needs to do to get himself a start and the United boss was bullish with his response.
“Don't worry about that, he'll get his games," said Solskjaer. "It's easy to say who should be playing but it's more difficult to say who shouldn't."
