Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola insists there's no reason for panic after losing more ground on Liverpool after their 1-1 draw with Leeds United.

The result leaves City eight points behind Liverpool only four games into the campaign.

“We have one less game," said Guardiola. “I know we have to win games to be at the top.

“But I am not thinking after three games about if we going to win the league.

“It is what it is. I know where we are at. I am satisfied with what they have done so far.

“We need to settle a few things and we are still a little bit away from our best.

“I know how tough this league is and our opponents don't drop many points. Today was a completely different game to Leicester because the opponent played completely different.

“I am so proud of these players and the team."
