BELURAN: A trailer driver died after it skidded and plunged into a ravine at Km115 of the Bukit Ular area of Jalan Nangoh Paitan, here, Monday afternoon.Beluran District Police Chief Supt. “Preliminary investigations found that the brake was believed to have malfunctioned while passing a hilly and winding road. “The incident caused the driver to suffer severe head and body injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene,” he said in a statement, Tuesday.

Kasim said the victim’s body was sent to Beluran Hospital for an autopsy and the case was investigated under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
