Inter Milan left wing-back Ashley Young admits he would love to return to Watford.

The former England international played for Watford during the early stages of his career.

He always has a soft spot for the club, and admitted in a recent interview he would love a return before he hangs up his boots.

It is unclear if there is any interest in Young on the part of Watford, but a move could happen next summer if the Hornets can get back into the Premier League.

Speaking on the Golden Tales Podcast, Young said: "If I could go back and play there [at Watford] again, I would walk from Italy right now because it's what I know, it's where I come from and it's what allowed me to be who I am and get where I am.

"It gave me a humble beginning."
