Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is tightlipped on who will be between the posts against Southampton.

Lampard has confirmed that Edouard Mendy will play no part in Chelsea's Premier League clash with Southampton this weekend.

The Blues' summer-signing picked up a thigh injury while away on international duty with Senegal, which leaves Lampard with either Kepa Arrizabalaga or Willy Caballero in goal.

"Mendy won't be fit for the match tomorrow, we hope it won't be too long," Lampard confirmed.

When asked who will be feature in his place, Lampard refused to pick between his two keepers, saying: "I'll make that decision myself for tomorrow."

Mendy is expected to be missing for two weeks.
