Released West Ham United midfielder Jack Wilshere will consider a move to Rangers.
The former Arsenal midfield is a free agent after his contract at West Ham expired, and a switch to Scotland is said to appeal to him having previous stated he'd like a move to Spain or Italy.
Rangers are yet to make contact with Wilshere's representatives but the player would be keen on the move to Ibrox.
A source told the PA: “Rangers would be an option for Jack if there had been any contact. So far, however, there hasn't been any.
“Jack thinks Rangers are a great club. They tried to take him on loan when Walter Smith was in charge back in 2010 just as he was starting out at Arsenal but he ended up going to Bolton."
