Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Builders Association (SBA) said the imposition of the two-week Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in Penampang, Putatan and here, from Wednesday will result in delay in completion of ongoing projects apart from budget adjustments. “Employers will have to fork out special funds to help ease the financial burden of workers especially those who are under the ‘no work, no pay’ employment system. “For humanitarian reason, we should consider the plight of this particular group of workers, “ said SBA President Lou Chi Nam, adding SBA also hoped the government would come up with appropriate measures to assist the affected employers during this time of difficulties.
