Serie C Como have snapped up Everton defender Matthew Foulds.
The defender confirmed he had penned terms with Italian outfit Como on Wednesday after a period as a free agent, thanking former Chelsea midfielder Dennis Wise, who is reportedly working with the club, reports the Liverpool Echo.
"Delighted to have signed for Como," he said. "Such a good opportunity to come out and play in Italy.
"Looking forward to this next stage in my career and hopefully we can get this club back to Serie A.
"Thanks to everyone who made this happen, my agents....and then also Dennis Wise for making me feel so welcome out here.
"Looking forward to working with you and the rest of the lads."
