Infant ventilator gift for hosp

TAWAU: The “Fight Covid19 for Tawau” (FCT) Fundraising Committee donated a neonatal/infant ventilator – the Stephan EVE-NEO Model worth RM74,600 to the Tawau Hospital on Monday.

It followed the unfortunate loss of a one-year old to Covid-19 in Sabah, the FCT Fundraising Committee which comprised members of Tawau Chinese Chamber of Commerce (TCCC) and Tawau Agricultural Club (TAC) donated the equipment.

According to the Deputy Director of Tawau Hospital, Dr Azman Ibrahim, with the rapid surge of Covid-19 patients in Tawau, a designated neonatal/infant ventilator has become imperative.
