Food aid: YB takes Govt to task over lack of transparency

TAWAU: Sri Tanjong Assemblyman Justin Wong Yung Bin took the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) State Government to task over lack of transparency in distributing food baskets to the people during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).

Justin questioned whether the State Government has any intention to help people in opposition constituencies during the Covid-19 pandemic.

He also pointed out for the failure to list a set of clear and transparent Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on the food basket aid programme while calling the distribution work “messy”.
