12,313 food baskets given out

Kota Kinabalu: A total of 12,313 food baskets have been distributed by the new GRS State Government to the targeted groups so far.

State Community Development and People’s Wellbeing Minister Shahelmey Yahya (pic) said the distribution involves the affected areas such as those in Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO), Conditional Enhanced Movement Control Order (TEMCO) and Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).

He said the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) at the Federal level has also channelled assistance involving 6,300 food baskets.
