Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is targeting Lyon ace Houssem Aouar.
L'Equipe says Zidane wants Lyon's Aouar, one of the players who are causing great sensations in Ligue 1, and who just got called up to the France national team.
Zizou who is driving the interest and he has called the player personally - Aouar was reported to be in negotiations with Arsenal.
The same source says it's hard for Madrid to do a deal with only a few days to go before the window shuts, especially as economically they may not be able to pay what Lyon want.
Madrid are in the Champions League and Lyon aren't, which could help lure the player, but the signing looks complex. Maybe he will stay in France and keep maturing before coming next season.
