NAC Breda striker Sydney van Hooijdonk admits he won't consider his career a success unless he plays in England.

The son of former Nottingham Forest star Pierre van Hooijdonk, Sydney says he'd be happy playing for a big Championship club, though the Premier League is the ultimate aim.

He told Voetbalzone: “I just love that competition and it's also fine if I don't get there until my thirtieth birthday. It doesn't have to go fast."

The 20 year-old especially has a soft spot for Liverpool.

“In terms of big teams there, that club likes the best, but I can also enjoy a Crystal Palace or clubs from the Championship. As long as I really live with the supporters, as it does with NAC.

“I absolutely don't want to play for a boring club. That just doesn't suit me."
