Crystal Palace are hoping they can maximize the talent of youngster Jadan Raymond.

The homegrown talent had wanted to leave the club this summer, but ultimately rejected a move to Leeds United.

He signed a two-year scholarship deal with the club and will likely step up into the first team in the next one or two years.

The 16-year-old is a central midfielder, and The Guardianclaims Palace have huge hopes for Raymond's future.

They believe he can help usher the next generation of talent into the Palace first team.

The club has done a good job with their academy in recent years, producing the likes of Nathaniel Clyne, Victor Moses, Nathaniel Clyne and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
