Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp denies he criticised the Amsterdam Arena pitch for victory at Ajax.
Klopp was still angry today over the way his comments were covered.
He said, "From a performance point of view the Everton games gives us more confidence from the Ajax one but you have to win the game.
"By the way, it is bit disappointing when people confront Erik ten Hag about what I said about the pitch and ask him to respond. It is a bit embarrassing.
"I didn't blame the pitch for our performance, it was not a good pitch and it didn't help both teams.
"But who is interested in the truth nowadays..."
