Sabah’s season ends prematurely

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Tambadaus’ 2020 Super League season has ended prematurely on Thursday after their special route application for the final match against UiTM at Hang Jebat Stadium in Melaka on Saturday was not approved by the National Security Council.

The cancellation of their scheduled flight to Kuala Lumpur at 5pm on Thursday was followed with the announcement by Malaysian Football League (MFL) Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Ab Ghani Hassan that UiTM has been awarded a 3-0 victory.

In addition, he said Sabah is also out of the TM Malaysia Cup competition which is set to start on November 6, 7 and 8.
