The brother and agent of Sassuolo winger Jeremie Boga admits Napoli pushed hard to sign him.
Daniel Boga insists the midfielder is happy to still be with the Serie A minnows.
“The market has closed, he doesn't think about it anymore," Daniel Boga said. “He concentrates on Sassuolo.
“It's a few weeks since I spoke to [Napoli sporting director Cristiano] Giuntoli. Napoli made more offers to Sassuolo, who rejected them because they wanted more money.
“Napoli tried hard and Sassuolo didn't want to sell. It's not certaint hat it can't be different in the future.
“He has an excellent relationship with Napoli, it's not their fault he didn't arrive but Sassuolo who didn't want to sell.
“We will certainly talk about it again in the future."
