Manchester United have made an approach to Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici.
Paratici's position is in doubt after the collapse of Juve's proposed signing of Luis Suarez. The former Barcelona striker eventually moved to Atletico Madrid, despite taking an exam for his Italian passport.
Tuttosport says Roma have pulled back from talks for Paratici, though his future at Juve remains in doubt.
United have sounded out Paratici about his availability, as has PSG. But the Italian has declined both enquiries for now.
His future is expected to decided by the October 15 shareholders' meeting.
