Dissolution sparks Covid debate

SANDAKAN: Sandakan Member of Parliament Vivian Wong Shir Yee (pic) came to the defence of Sabah Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Juhar Mahiruddin, Wednesday, saying it is upsetting to hear the dissolution of the State Assembly and the subsequent state election now being blamed for the spike in Covid-19 cases in Sabah and the peninsula. 

She said Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin should first ask what was the reason behind the dissolution in the first place.

“Who was the mastermind behind the manoeuvre to topple the Warisan State Government by enticing elected representatives to jump to Perikatan Nasional aligned parties?” she said, in a statement.
