Liverpool will consider a January move for Brighton defender Ben White following Virgil van Dijk's knee injury
Football Insider says the Reds extensively scouted White over the summer, and he still remains very much on their radar.
However, they are worried that he does not perform well in aerial duels, and he is a very different type of defender to the colossal Van Dijk.
The 23-year-old impressed in the Championship on loan at Leeds last season, but despite the Whites making a number of bids during the transfer window he ended up staying with the Seagulls.
He has been an ever-present for Graham Potter's side at the start of the current campaign, but has been part of a leaky defence that has shipped 14 goals in six games in all competitions so far.
Liverpool may well be monitoring his performances over the coming months as they consider a bid, but they would likely have to spend in excess of £30m to land their man, given Leeds' bid of a similar figure was turned down.
