Manchester City will allow Matt Smith to leave on loan this season.
The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Charlton Athletic and Queens Park Rangers.
A number of Championship and League One clubs want to sign the midfielder before Friday's transfer deadline.
And Football Insider says City are willing to let the Wales international depart.
Smith has won 10 caps for his country since making his debut in May 2018.
He also spent the 2018/19 season with FC Twente, where he made 34 league appearances.
