Sabah Umno youth: Emergency must to avert ‘tsunami’

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Umno Youth Chief Abdul Aziz Julkarnain (pic) fully supports the proposed  Emergency Order by the Prime Minister and his Cabinet, saying a constitutional intervention is appropriate to prevent a Covid-19 tsunami that will lead to more casualties as a result of a snap General Election.  

 He said the country is presently confronted by health and economic crises as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic which affected people from various walks of life.

“Therefore, our country is not able to face another major crisis which is the political crisis. In this regard, it is appropriate if the political ‘status quo’ is maintained for the sake of the people and socio-economic stability.
