Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has explained his early hook for Pascal Struijk for victory over Aston Villa.
Leeds thumped Villa 3-0 on Friday, though Bielsa hauled off Struijk on 21 minutes.
He later explained: "He got a yellow card early on, against an Aston Villa that played with a lot of agility.
“That's why I took him off. After that yellow card, he also committed another offense, which put him against the border. That worried me."
Struijk has since responded via social media.
“I will learn from this," he posted.
