Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has spoken about the reason for youngster Moise Kean missing their game against West Ham United.
The Toffees moved into the quarter finals of the League Cup, thanks to a Dominic Calvert-Lewin hat trick.
Kean, who has been linked with Juventus, was not even on the bench for the game, which raised some eyebrows among fans and pundits.
Ancelotti told his post-match press conference the player's absence was due to a lack of fitness.
The Italian boss said: "He had no injury, but was not available, he didn't feel good.
"I think in the next day he can recover without problem."
