Kota Kinabalu: Former Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman (pic) broke his silence, Monday, on suggestions that he and the 32 former Assembly members who made up a simple majority - and the right to form the new government – on July 29, this year, are to blame for the Covid-19 spike that has seen Sabah grabbing the top spot in both the number of infections and deaths. He said the situation could have been avoided had former Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal accepted defeat like a gentleman just like other Chief Ministers and Menteri Besars who handed over power to Perikatan Nasional (PN) by respecting the democratic process, rather than subject the people to an unnecessary election at a time of a pandemic.
