SESB to resume meter readings Nov 1

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) will resume consumer meter readings on Nov 1 throughout Sabah and Labuan except for areas under the Targeted Enhanced Movement Control Order (Temco) and Enhanced Movement Control Order (Emco).

SESB Senior General Manager (Asset Management) Norhizami Abu Hassan, in a statement Thursday, said the meter reading is implemented on all consumers with emphasis on the safety and health of the meter readers and customers in full compliance of the preventive procedures recommended by the authorities.

He said all SESB meter readers are required to undergo a Covid-19 screening test before they are allowed to carry out the work, as one of the measures to curb the spread of Covid-19.
