Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was very happy with Dutchman Donny van de Beek.

The former Ajax man finally got a competitive start for United against RB Leipzig.

He helped the team to a 1-0 lead before he was substituted, and the Red Devils eventually ran away 5-0 victors.

But Solskjaer was pleased with what the Dutchman contributed.

Asked about Van De Beek, Solskjaer told reporters: "You tell me.

"Donny is a fantastic player, a fantastic boy, you see the work on and off the ball.

"You see the defensive shape, he covers the ground, so clever with his movement, so pleased with both of them."
