Former Liverpool fullback Jan Kromkamp insists Ajax have a chance in tomorrow's Champions League group opener.
The two teams will meet in Amsterdam on Wednesday night.
Kromkamp opined: "The strength of Ajax lies in Erik ten Hag's view of the game. Initiative, press. I would put up players who are good on the ball. Then you can play yourself under the great pressure of Liverpool.
"Ajax must ensure that it does not lose much of the ball itself. If it does, the players must have a lead in sprints. Liverpool will be putting on a lot of pressure. The trick is to play through that well. That's where the key lies."
