Food basket donations through PKOBs: Masidi

Kota Kinabalu: Food basket donations by non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in the State must be channelled through the District Disaster Operations Control Centres (PKOBs), said Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun. 

“The Government appreciates the involvement and concern of NGOs assisting those affected by the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO). 

“Therefore, in order to streamline the food distribution process, the Government has decided that all food assistance must be channelled to the Disaster Operations Control Centre (PKOB) of their respective districts,” he said in a statement, Friday.
