Chambers hail China’s oil palm pledge

SANDAKAN: Sabah United Chinese Chambers of Commerce (USCCC) welcome the pledged by China to purchase 1.7 million tonnes of palm oil from Malaysia until 2023. 

Its president, Tan Sri Andrew Liew (pic) expressed his gratitude to Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Hishamudin Hussien for the effort to strengthen bilateral ties between Malaysia and China. 

Andrew believes the purchasing of 1.7 million tonnes of palm oil will help boost Malaysia’s economic growth.
