KUALA LUMPUR: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah is of the opinion that there is no need to declare a state of Emergency in the whole country or any parts of the country at this point of time. Al-Sultan Abdullah said, in a statement by Istana Negara, Sunday, he has confidence in the capability of the current government under Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to execute policies and enforce action to curb the spread of Covid-19. The Yang di-Pertuan Agong also reminded politicians to immediately cease all forms of politicking which can destabilise the country's administration.

He is also of the opinion that there is no need for members of Parliament to proceed with irresponsible action that can affect the stability of the present government.
