Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro admits his name has long been misspelled.
He has spoken to Vamos about a number of issues, including his name, of which there has always been a certain amount of uncertainty about.
"Not many people know that in reality, my name is Casimiro, because my mother's surname is with an I, not an E: Casimiro," he explained.
"When I played in Brazil, there was a game in Sao Paulo when people started to call me Casemiro. I played really well that day and I decided that people should keep calling me Casemiro, with the E. And here we are today."
