Manchester City defender Ruben Dias believes it is on everyone in the team to do their part as leaders.
The Portuguese centre-back arrived from Benfica this summer, and has made a huge impact.
Not only is he an excellent defender, but Dias has earned praise from manager Pep Guardiola for his leadership qualities.
"On the matter of leadership, I have always considered in a team that every single player needs to be a leader of himself," Dias told reporters during a press conference ahead of the team's UEFA Champions League game with FC Porto.
"There is a leader of the team but first of all you need to be a leader of yourself.
"I have worked my entire life to be a leader of myself, to discipline myself, to work to where I want to be. Everything else comes naturally with my personality.
"The team received me very well and I will keep working the way I am. The rest will come naturally."
