SANDAKAN: The assurance given by the State Government on the current Covid-19 situation in the State fails to calm Sabahans if it does not reflect the actual situation on the ground.

Sandakan MP Vivian Wong (pic) said up to Sunday, Tawau, Semporna, Kunak and Lahad Datu have been under Targeted Enhanced Movement Control Order (Temco) for 20 days, while Kota Kinabalu, Penampang and Putatan were put under Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) for 12 days and Sandakan, Papar and Tuaran for a period of 10 days.

“Yet, after more than half of the State going into some form of lockdown, instead of stabilising, the situation only seems to get worse based on the number of daily cases reported by the Ministry of Health.
