Southampton defender Wesley Hoedt is delighted to have returned to Lazio.
Hoedt was with Lazio from 2015-17 and is returning on loan with option to buy for a reported €7m.
“I am very happy to be back home," he wrote on Instagram with a picture of himself and his partner standing at the airport with his Number 14 Lazio shirt.
Since leaving Rome, Hoedt had experiences at Celta Vigo and Royal Antwerp as well as Southampton.
