Celebrating birthday in the new norm

Kota Kinabalu: With the Covid-19 pandemic cases spiralling, Sabahans are forced to retreat into their homes again with little to no socialising. 

However, the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) which was recently re-introduced in the red zones in the State, including here, have not deterred first-time parents Daniel Franklin and Melissa Angus to ensure their daughter does not miss out on celebrating her birthday with relatives, physical distancing style.

The duo came up with the ingenious idea of celebrating the “Frozen 2”-themed virtual birthday party for Isabella (or affectionately known as “Izzy”) which involved packed marshmallows, chocolate chips and biscuit sticks.
