Middlesbrough are looking to conclude a deal for Danny Rose in the coming days.
The Daily Mail is reporting that Rose has been told by Tottenham he is free to find a new club.
He is not wanted by Jose Mourinho and Boro could offer him a lifeline out of his current nightmare.
Boro have other options as well, as they are also eyeing Chelsea left back Baba Rahman.
The 26-year-old has only played 15 times since coming to the Blues in 2015.
If Rose does not sign, Boro may turn their attention to Rahman on a season long loan.
