Manchester United's players are said to be disappointed by the club's treatment of Sergio Romero.
The Argentine has fallen further down the pecking order after Dean Henderson's return to the club.
Romero is reportedly furious after he was priced out of a move from Old Trafford due to United's £10m asking price.
This came after he was omitted from the 37-man Champions League squad, with Lee Grant picked as third-choice goalkeeper.
The situation has brought sympathy from United players who feel Romero is being frozen out of the club after five years of service, per ESPN.
Everton had tried to sign Romero but instead chose to sign Robin Olsen on loan from AS Roma.
A move to MLS could be on the cards however as their transfer window shuts on October 29.
