Hospitals need 300 pints blood daily, says NGOs

Kota Kinabalu: A Redsaver Blood Donation Campaign will be jointly organised by the Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) Sabah Branch, Ranau Lions Club, Junior Chamber International (JCI) Tanjung Aru and the Queen Elizabeth Hospitals here. 

 The blood drive will be held at the MRCS Sabah State Building in Likas from 9am to 4pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays on Oct 9 to 11, Oct 16 to 18, Oct 23 to 25 and Oct 30 to Nov 1. 

 “Every day is life and death for Sabah now. Every drop counts,” said JCI Tanjung Aru in a statement, here, Friday.
