Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Independent Candidate Alliance (Sica) has called on both Federal and State Governments to extend additional Prihatin aid to businesses and individuals who have been affected by the second wave of Covid-19 outbreak in Sabah.

Its member Michelle Chin proposed among others that the Federal and State Governments distribute cash aid to those who have been badly affected during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) period, and Federal Government to extend the moratorium on loans until December 31.

She said, this is crucial towards helping needy Sabahans, especially those individuals who have lost their jobs or source of income, to get through this trying time.

“The economic implications are severe if the moratorium on loans is not further extended,” she said.
