Atletico Madrid have snapped up Brazilian youngster Joao Roberto.
Joao Roberto joins Atletico from Esporte Clube Agua Santa for an initial fee of €500,000.
The left-sided wing-back, 21, has been likened to Bayern Munich star David Alaba and will initially be registered Atletico B, says Globo Esporte.
Joao Roberto is on his way to Madrid for a medical and to sign terms.
Atletico will take him on a 12 month loan with the option to buy 80 per cent of his registration.
