Arsenal are eyeing Hertha Berlin defender Omar Rekik before today's deadline.
Rekik is the younger brother of Hertha teammate Karim Rekik, who has previous experience in England with Manchester City.
The Gunners would like to sign Omar for their U23 team.
And Hertha would be willing to sell, with the youngster's deal having less than a year to run.
Like Karim, Omar Rekik is also a centre-half and seen as one for the future by Arsenal chiefs.
