Monkeys cause problems for Beaufort farmers

BEAUFORT: Monkeys are causing serious problems especially for farmers in Lumadan and Klias.

Asmat Jaafar, speaking on behalf of Kampung Padas Damit residents, told Daily Express that many crops especially vegetables and fruits, were eaten by the primates.

“Residents here hoped that the Wildlife Rescue Unit (WRU) will catch the monkeys in Lumadan to at least reduce their population,” he said.
