Former AC Milan star Alexandre Pato could be on his way back to Italy.
Pato is currently a free agent after coming off contract at Sao Paulo.
The striker has been linked to talks with Birmingham City, but he has also been offered to Genoa by agents.
Gazzetta dello Sport says Genoa president Enrico Preziosi is now considering whether to offer Pato terms.
The former Brazil international is ready to return to Europe in 2021.
