Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is eager to continue buying in January.
He improved his squad with the signings of Willian and Gabriel as well as a Deadline Day move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey.
Football.London says Arteta wants to sign at least two players in January, with a back-up centre forward and a flexible forward the priorities.
On the recent transfer window, Edu had said: “I think we improved the squad's quality and physicality. Thomas, who we had in our plan for the future, when me and Mikel sit and talked, I think you get all the players who we really focused on.
“If you see Willian, he brings us experience and a very special physicality in terms of speed. If you see Gabriel, he gives us a lot of physicality and presence."
