Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp admits Fabinho could be in trouble with his hamstring injury.
The Brazilian was being used as a makeshift centre-back against Midtjylland, with Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip both sidelined with injuries.
But Fabinho had to be withdrawn late in the first-half, much to the disappointment of Klopp.
He said, via Goal: "It's exactly the last thing we needed. I know he felt a hamstring, and that's not good.
“He said he could have played on but no sprints, which doesn't help. We will see, we will know more after a scan."
